Ramadan Is The Month To Do Maximum Sadaqah (Charity)

Right now Muslims Ummah around the world is taking blessings of Holy Month of Ramadan Mubarak by fasting and praying to Allah SWT. this month is providing us great chance to come closer to Allah SWT by praying and doing his Zikr and stop doing all the Haram deeds. a great deed that all of us specially the rich Muslims must do is in this month of Sadaqah (Charity).

this is the month when we should try to help the poor people as much as we can. Our Beloved Rasool Muhammad SAW also used to do more charity during Ramadan as compared to any other month of the year. there will be many needy people around you who don't have food to eat or clothes to wear. its the best time to help them. even if you don't have much money you can help them with less money. its better than not doing anything at all for them.

you can also donate to genuine organizations which are providing food and other things to Muslims In Syria, Burma, Gaza and other countries.

Remember charity is a great deed in our Deen whose virtue increase even more in this blessed month. Our Beloved Rasool SAW has said that:
The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.
and Allah SWT says in the Holy Quran al-Baqarah 2:267
Believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad), and spend of that whereof He has made you trustees. And such of you as believe and spend (in Allahs way), theirs will be a great reward.

Real Purpose of Fasting in Holy Ramadan

Muslims around the globe Fasts For Thirty days every Year In the Month of Holy Ramadan From Sun Rise To Set from Eating and Drinking but Many People Specially Non-Muslims often asks this Question that Why You Muslims Fasts in this month and what is the purpose behind it?

This Question can also be asked by a Muslim that why Allah Swt has ordered us to Fast in the Holy Month of Ramadan? Basically There are Many Reasons For Fasting in the Month of Ramadan and Benefits as well which I will explaining one by one below.

First Purpose of Fasting in the Holy Month of Ramadan is because it is order of our Creator Allah Swt and we should follow whatever Allah Swt has ordered us in Holy Quran.

Second Reason of Fasting in the Holy Month of Ramadan is that by Fasting we will feel pain of poor people who cannot Buy Food because they have no Money. Today Millions of People in Every Country of the World Sleeps Hungry because they have no money to buy food. When we will Fast in Ramadan and feel the pain of poor you will try to help those poor people.

The Next Reason for Fasting in Ramadan is that Fast stops us from doing Sins. Fasting is not just name of staying away from the Food but also staying away from all sins like Lying, backbiting and abusing. According to Hadith of Prophet Muhammad as well Fast is not just stopping yourself from eating but also controlling your hands, Tongue from hurting others. Allah Swt also says in Quran that Fasting in Ramadan is obligatory on you so that you do Taqwa.

Next Purpose of Fasting in Ramadan is that it is very beneficial to our Health specially to our stomach.  its also helpful against diabetes, heart disease and helps in reducing weight.

So these are some of the Main Purpose of Fasting in Holy Ramadan. May Allah Swt help us all in benefiting fro mall these Purpose of Holy Ramadan.

Holiest Islamic Places On Earth

Islam is not just a 1400 years old religion but Islam is there from the time of Prophet Adam A.s. all the Prophets Including Moses, Jesus, Adam, Abraham and Mohammad (Peace be upon them all) given the same message of Islam that God is only one and all human beings should worship him alone. In this post we will have a look at some of the holiest Islamic places located on earth in different countries. all these places have some historical background which makes them holy. so here we go:

Masjid Al Haram: this is the most holy Islamic place on earth located in Makkah Saudi Arabia. Kaaba is in middle of this Masjid.

Masjid Al Nabawi: after Masjid Al Haram this is second most holy site of Islam. it is also known as Prophet's Mosque.

Masjid Al Aqsa: this is third most holy site for the Muslims and also known as Qibla e Awal.

Importance of Offering Tahajjud Prayer

Prayer (Salah) Or Namaz strengthens our emaan and it brings peace and comfort in our life. There are five obligatory prayers which have to be offered as duty. But salah does not end here, one can offer voluntary salah anytime whenever he wants. Among the voluntary salah, tahajjud is the most important one in Islam. Allah swt has directed us to offer tahajjud salah in Quran. The following verses indicate it;

And during a part of the night, pray Tahajjud beyond what is incumbent on you; maybe your Rabb will raise you to a position of great glory (17:79)
we should know that, tahajjud is not compulsory, but it is most liked prayer. Allah swt ha syndicated in the above verse that tahajjud namaz is so much liked that the offerer of it can be raised in rank (i.e. given glory). In another verse, Allah swt say;
They used to sleep but little in the night. And in the early part of the morning they asked forgiveness. (51: 17-18)
This verse is about the fearful slaves of Allah. Two of their qualities are mentioned in this verse. One is, that they sleep a little and sacrifice their sleep for salah and they do not miss fajar as well.
In another verse, Allah swt say;
"The slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: 'Peace' and they who spend the night prostrating before their Lord and standing" (25: 63-64)
The above verse also speaks about the qualities of the believers that they have no pride in them. And they do not indulge themselves in vain talk. And they offer salah at night. Thus, Allah swt has mentioned the tahajud salah as one of the qualities of the slaves of Allah swt. There is great reward attached to it. And first and foremost reward is the pleasure of Allah swt. What else can be the want of a believer in this world but happiness of Allah swt? There are ahadith that indicate how much goodness comes with tahajjud prayer. Prophet Muhammad pbuh said;

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said :
"During your sleep, Satan knots three knots at the back of the head of each of you, and he breathes the following words at each knot, 'The night is, long, so keep on sleeping,' If that person wakes up and celebrates the praises of Allah, then one knot is undone, and when he performs ablution the second knot is undone, and when he prays, all the knot are undone, and he gets up in the morning lively and gay, otherwise he gets up dull and gloomy. "
(Bukhari :: Book 4 :: Volume 54 :: Hadith 491)

On another place, prophet Muhammad pbuh said that it is the most liked prayer after obligatory salah;

Abu Hurairah (radiallaahu anhu) said:
The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said: The most excellent fasting after the month of ramadan is fasting during the month of Allaah, Muharram, and the most excellent prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer.
(Reported by Muslim, Abu Daawood, at-Tirmidhee)

The reward of praying tahajjud is the one which most of the people cannot have. And that is spacial reward as mentioned in the following sahih hadith:

Abdullaah bin Amr (radiallaahu anhu) said:
The Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said: In Paradise there is a home whose outside can be seen from the inside and whose inside can be seen from the outside. Abu Maalik al- Asharee said: Who is this for O Messenger of Allah? He said: It is for the one who makes his speech good and decent, who feeds others and spends the night in standing whilst others are sleeping.
Reported by al-Haakim who said: It is Saheeh with the conditions (of Bukhaari and Muslim).

Therefore, praying tahajjud should be made habit for the love , happiness and reward from Allah swt.

Issue of Using Toothpaste and Brush While Fasting

Ramadan 2015 has begun and Muslims throughout the globe has started fasting. while fasting people faces several Issues which they want to clarify that is it ok to do some specific things during fast and will it break their fast or not? One of these Issues is using Toothpaste and toothbrush while fasting.

Prophet SAW and Sahaba used siwak (Mishwak) to clean their teeth and they even used it while fasting. there was no toothbrush and toothpaste at that time. so we will have to look opinion of different scholars on this issue.

according to most of scholars its completely fine to use toothbrush and paste during fast as long as you don't swallow the paste. so you can do it without any problem. Shaykh Ibn Baaz R.a has also said that its permissible.

the people who oppose usage of brush and paste during fast only promote rigidity which is against our Deen.

Lets look at the opinion of famous Muslim Scholar Dr Zakir Naik on this issue:
